Cost of Commercial LPG Cylinders Rises Again Several Cities

Hyderabad: As of November 1, the price of commercial LPG cylinders in several Indian cities has increased, marking the fourth consecutive monthly hike. Oil marketing companies announced the latest adjustment, reflecting rising costs for businesses dependent on LPG.

In Delhi, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has been raised by ₹62, bringing the total to ₹1,802, up from the previous rate of ₹1,740. This follows a ₹48.50 increase on October 1. In earlier months, the price was raised by ₹39 in September and ₹8.50 in August.

Other metro cities have also seen price hikes:

  • Mumbai: ₹1,754.50
  • Chennai: ₹1,964.50
  • Kolkata: ₹1,911.50

Interestingly, in Hyderabad, the cost remains unchanged despite the increases across other major cities. The price for a 19-kg cylinder in Hyderabad continues to stand at ₹1,967.

With these consistent monthly increases, commercial LPG users are facing significant cost pressures, impacting the hospitality and food service industries in particular.
