WASHINGTON – During a recent press encounter, President Donald Trump avoided confirming if he would direct a military attack against Iran, saying, “I may do it, I may not do it. Nobody knows what I’m going to do.” The comment comes against the backdrop of increased tensions between the US and Iran, with Trump making it clear that it is not “too late” for Iran to quit pursuing its nuclear dreams.

Trump’s remarks are a response to the ongoing considerations about direct US intervention in Israel’s military action to stop Iran’s nuclear program. Trump said, “Nothing’s too late,” and warned that some important developments may take place within the next week.

To Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s denial of complying with demands for unconditional surrender, Trump jUSt said, “I say good luck.” Khamenei had already threatened that any US attacks would have dire consequences for the United States.

Trump further stated that America knows where Khamenei is but has no near-term intention to attack him, indicating that “He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out, at least not for now.

The previous president’s words come as he called on the people of Tehran to leave, emphasizing the gravity of the situation. As tensions rise, the world at large is on high alert, fearing the escalation of any further hostilities and what this means for the stability of the region.
