New Delhi: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, during a public rally in Okhla, launched a scathing critique of both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, describing them as “two sides of the same coin.” Addressing a large crowd, Owaisi alleged that both leaders have failed to address the issues faced by minorities and accused them of adopting policies that marginalize vulnerable communities.
Owaisi criticized the Modi government for its handling of minority issues, citing policies he claimed have deepened social divisions. He also targeted Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of hypocrisy and claiming that the Delhi government’s actions align with the BJP’s agenda.
The AIMIM chief questioned the secular credentials of Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), claiming it lacks a strong stance on protecting minority rights. He stated, “Kejriwal may speak against Modi, but when it comes to policies and actions, they both share the same ideology of sidelining the underprivileged.”
In his speech, Owaisi also highlighted various challenges faced by residents of Okhla, including unemployment, inadequate healthcare, and lack of infrastructure. He promised that the AIMIM would continue to raise its voice for justice and equality, advocating for those who feel neglected by mainstream political parties.
The fiery address drew a strong response from attendees, with chants of support for Owaisi’s stance. Political analysts view his remarks as part of a larger strategy to consolidate support among minorities ahead of upcoming elections.
Both BJP and AAP leaders have yet to respond to Owaisi’s allegations, but the remarks are expected to stir political debates in the days to come.
